You can keep it in your container of brown sugar too and it will keep it from getting hard. :-/ I just use a tupperware. I don't really want your rooster disk but I DO want to say that I laughed so hard I peed a little while reading about it.

    Nice.

If it weren't for the postage, what a great way to get rid of useless junk. Of course, in my house, if i gave away 100 things a day, it would still take years to rid myself of it all. I'm not asking a question because I have my own useless stuff and don't need one of yours to add to it.

But I am sponsoring my own GIVEAWAY ---which includes matted art work and T-shirts. Not quite as useless as the terra cotta thingy. Visit my blog for details.

And again I don't want the rooster thing... I did how ever know what it was for, unfortunately I have one that looks just like that. I got it as a wedding gift with another one that is a teddy bear. It's one of those things in my junk drawer taking up space. With 4 kids I don't have time to bake. LOL

    So my question:
Do you believe in angels? If yes, are your angels of relation to you (people who passed away in your family) or just angels?
  • June Freaking Cleaver · 6 months ago
Maybe this rooster can be a world traveler, and get passed from one blogger to the next. Heck, create a blog for it, describing its travels!
  • S Club Mama · 6 months ago
So seriously, I would give this to my MIL for Christmas. She never likes what I get her and this actually kind of fits her decor (if you can call it decor - it's really just a farm house).

Your rooster could be the next Travelosity Gnome. You could take pictures of it all over the world. It's a blogging adventurer! This could be the next big thing!

    Hi,
Got something for you as a small token of mine for you. hope you claim it and see my blogs.

I like June Freaking Cleaver's idea of a blog for the rooster passages from one blogger to another (but please don't count me in!). Great post :) I am still chuckling from it!

Question: What topic(s) do you refrain from writing about on your blog?

Question: If your husband were to guest post on your blog what would he write about?

    You crack me up!

I can't believe your having a cock giveaway.

    My question is:

Where does your sense of humor come from?
  • Grammy Suzzy and DJ Doran · 6 months ago
Sooo funny! I think I might want this to put in a Christmas stocking...It seems them quirky things are the biggest hits. Or I could use it at the next White Elephant party!
  • Kimmy · 6 months ago
LOL...that's hilarious! I would actually be asking the same question. I won't be entering in your giveaway cause, no offense, I'll pass on the prize! LOL
    Stopping by from Mama Kat's.

That is just way too funny, I really don't want the rooster but I loved the story.
    Just stopping by from Harriet's.
    Too funny,

I'm pretty sure that I almost peed in my pants while reading this and that I should never read your blog while trying to look "busy" at work! Can I pass on the giveaway?
  • Dan · 6 months ago
I have to agree - if it weren't for the cost of postage, it would be a great way to get rid of all those "too good or unique to toss but I never use doodads." In any case, I don't need the terra cotta rooster, so You are on your own.

I think the first commentor was correct. I believe it to be for brown sugar (kind of like putting rice in the salt shaker). Love the description of your blog. I hope your muse comes out of hiding (I'm here reading so it must be peeking out right??).
  • Mama Kat · 6 months ago
I think the gift is perfectly reasonable. She knew you needed a cock at your house so she sent you one! You lucky duck. No need to enter me into the drawing...plenty of cocks around here!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. You and the dorky blogger :) have me laughing out loud! Since I just stumbled upon your blog today and have not read any of your older posts and therefore know nothing about you at all, my question is:

How in the world did you stumble upon Blogging is for Dorks' page in the first place?

And yes, I hit the follow button post haste. I love laughing. I think I may have found 2 blogs to keep me in stitches for a while. :)

You have 20 minutes all to yourself. What do you do?
  • Jenny · 6 months ago
    That was hilarious.

Okay a question. What is your favorite TV show?
  • Jen · 6 months ago
you are just too many things!!!!

What is your favorite guilty pleasure?
  • Krystyn · 6 months ago
    You are freaking hilarious.

    Are your toenails painted?

    What color?

    Granny panties or thongs?
  • Jenners · 6 months ago
This was so funny! And here I have dry baked goods that need to be made moist and I had no idea how to go about it!

    So question, question...

What was the most useful item you had on your baby registry?

What the most useless item you had on your baby registry?

What item that wasn't on your baby registry did you later find and wish you had put on?

I have no idea where these questions came from.

This is my first visit t your blog but you can bet I'll be back, lol. LOve the Rooster WTF disk! That's awesome :)

Hey there Isabel - dropping in after your visit to my blog but after cracking up this much at your post I'll definitely be back!

Hmmm. I really* want that terracotta rooster... Question for you:

What's your most disgusting habit? (Don't censor - inquiring minds want to know!)

Can't wait to see what happens to that damn thing. Oh, and I'm in Australia, so it's really going to suck for you to post that rooster (cock?) over here if I'm (un)lucky enough to win. Although I suppose no price is too high to get rid of it!

*and by really, I mean really don't
